Managing Partner
Rear Admiral Mohammad Makbul Hossain (Retd) is a distinguished former officer of the Bangladesh Navy, with a career spanning nearly four decades of remarkable service in operational leadership, strategic command, and international military engagement. He was commissioned into the Executive Branch of the Navy on 1 August 1981 after rigorous training at the Marshal Tito Naval Academy in Former Yugoslavia, where he sub-specialized in Torpedo and Anti-Submarine Warfare and later specialized on the same subject in India.
An accomplished strategist, he is a graduate of the Defence Services Command and Staff College (Bangladesh) and the National Defence University of China, and holds a Master's degree in Defense Studies from the National University of Bangladesh. Throughout his naval career, Rear Admiral Hossain commanded various warships and shore establishments, and held key appointments including Director in Naval Headquarters and the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI).
He also served as Commander of Chittagong Naval Area (COCHIT), Naval Administrative Authority of Dhaka, and Commander of the Special Warfare, Diving, and Salvage Command in Chittagong. He reached the highest operational positions, including Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Operations and Personnel), and finally as Director General of the Bangladesh Coast Guard from 2013 to 2016.
His tenure in the Coast Guard was marked by modernization initiatives, maritime security, and regional cooperation, earning him national honors such as the Noubahini Padak and Oshamanno Sheba Padak. Since retiring on 31 December 2019, Rear Admiral Hossain has brought his leadership and defense expertise to the private sector as Managing Partner of Reemak Industries. His experience in defense procurement and strategic governance uniquely positions the company as a trusted supplier to the Bangladesh Armed Forces.

Eng Sakib H Rushdi holds the position of Partner at Reemak Industries. He is an Electrical and Electronics Engineer with extensive experience in both international research environments and local industry.
He has worked in cutting-edge R&D laboratories in Dallas, Texas, where he contributed to the development of advanced optical multiplexing technologies. He has also worked on core and aggregation of terrestrial data link systems in Bangladesh.
In addition to his technical background, Sakib has played a pivotal role in Bangladesh’s leading manufacturing sector. He has also worked with Artificial Intelligence and emerging digital tools to optimize banking processes and innovations.
His dual expertise in deep technology and business operations brings strategic agility and technical insight to Reemak Industries’ expanding portfolio.
